Right now, I am on the Iditarod Trail assisting Official Iditarod Photographer, Jeff Schultz. What is the Iditarod, you ask? The Iditarod is a 1,000 mile long distance sled dog race through remote Alaska. Mushers and their teams traverse the landscape through jagged mountain ranges, frozen river, dense forest, desolate tundra and miles of windswept coast to the finish line in Nome.
